Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are processed for payments made through AL-TAJ Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd.
1. Refund Eligibility
Refund eligibility depends on:
- Booking status (confirmed / unconfirmed)
- Type of service
- Supplier rules
- Mode of payment
2. Refund Mode
- All approved refunds are processed only to the original mode of payment, as mandated by Razorpay and RBI guidelines.
- Wallet refunds, cash refunds, or third-party transfers are not permitted.
3. Refund Timeline
- Refunds are initiated within 3–5 working days after approval.
- Actual credit timelines depend on the bank or payment method.
4. Payment Gateway Charges
- Payment gateway charges are non-refundable once a transaction is processed.
- UPI payments are fully refundable, as no gateway charges are incurred.
- Applicable taxes on gateway charges may also be deducted.
5. Refunds Before Booking Confirmation
If a booking is cancelled or rejected before confirmation:
- Refund is processed after deducting gateway charges
- UPI payments receive a full refund
6. Subscription Refunds
- Subscription cancellations stop future auto-debits immediately.
- Past payments are refundable after deducting:
- INR 1,000 administrative fee, and
- Applicable payment gateway charges
- Auto-debit subscriptions comply with RBI e-mandate and Razorpay subscription norms.
7. Force Majeure Refunds
For events beyond AL-TAJ’s control (visa rejection, Saudi regulations, Masar/Nusuk suspension, pandemics, airline cancellations):
- Refunds are processed only to the extent recoverable from suppliers
- Non-recoverable components remain non-refundable
- No compensation for indirect or consequential losses
Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to all services booked through AL-TAJ Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd.
1. Customer-Initiated Cancellation (Before Confirmation)
- Eligible for refund after deducting:
- Payment gateway charges
- UPI payments are fully refundable
2. Customer-Initiated Cancellation (After Confirmation)
Flights & Standalone Hotels
- Governed strictly by airline / hotel cancellation rules
- AL-TAJ acts only as an intermediary
Umrah & Ziyarah Packages
- Governed by AL-TAJ’s package-specific cancellation policy
- Certain components may be non-refundable once services are initiated
3. Partial Payment Cancellations
- Partial payments are allowed only for Umrah & Ziyarah packages
- Balance payment deadlines are communicated individually
- Failure to pay the balance may result in cancellation
- Refunds, if any, are subject to applicable deductions
4. No-Show & Unused Services
- No-shows or unused services are strictly non-refundable
- This includes flights, hotels, visas, transport, and packages
5. Chargebacks & Disputes
- Initiating a chargeback may result in:
- Booking suspension or cancellation
- Account restrictions
- AL-TAJ reserves the right to contest disputes
- Chargeback fees or losses may be recovered from the customer
6. Right to Amend
AL-TAJ reserves the right to modify these policies at any time. The version available on the website at the time of booking shall prevail.
